Golf Score 80. A good round for me today, but an even better round for Eddy. He got an Eagle and a few birdies. I ended up with a lot of pars today. So, that was fun.
On the first hole, I outdrove him, which is rare. Then he one the next hole. Then I outdrove him again. Then he was a little bit in shock. Then he outdrove me. Then I outdrove him really big with a long, long, long drive. Then he got competitive. So, on the back 9, I only outdrove him on the last hole.
So, I can partially take credit for his great score.
To be fair, this was his fourth chance at eagle on the same hole and he finally put one in. That was magical.
Rain tried to come in for the last few holes, but we escaped a downpour.
Golf Score 80
I remember when I first was playing golf quite a bit in Hawaii. There I also played with three guys who were just naturally better players than me. I was younger back then and got a little more frustrated than I do today.
One of the reasons I quit for 10 years, was because my last three scores in Hawaii where 81, 81, and 81. I just felt like I would never be able to break 80.
Fortunately, I have been able to do that quite a few times. And like Eddie today, two times I broke 70. To be fair that was when I was playing three to four times a week and practicing on the off days.
Right now, I’m fortunate to get out a few times a week, but not getting enough practice in.
Golf is a lot more fun if we don’t take it too seriously.
Golf score 80 is a fun way to spend the day. Thanks for reading Golf & Coffee
